The elegant shape and clean and graceful lines are a reflection of the tonal harmony of the Cutaway. Well-quartered German spruce and Oskars innovative bracing system give the instrument its responsive, rich and resonant sound. The clear definition of single notes, though well blended in chords, makes the Cutaway an excellent finger style as well as flat picking guitar.
