Since 1974, when he opened his first shop in Ottawa, Ontario, Canadian luthier Marc Beneteau has been perfecting the art of acoustic guitar making. Working alone, he carefully handcrafts each instrument, using the finest tonewoods and the accumulated skills that only years of experience can bring.
Chosen by two time North American fingerstyle champion Don Ross as well as top Canadian players Terry Tufts, David Gillis and Ray Montford, Beneteau guitars have long enjoyed a reputation for superb quality and excellent tone.
