Acoustic Disc's third sampler, 100% Handmade Music Volume III offers more than just two selections from each of our last seven releases - Dawganova, Tone Poems II, That High Lonesome Sound, DGQ-20, Shady Grove, Portrait of an American Original and Latin Touch. Two bonus cuts are available nowhere else - an alternate take from Shady Grove of "Stealin" by Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, plus a new version of "Home," the poignant Karla Bonoff ballad sung by Bonnie Raitt accompanied by the David Grisman Quintet.

Like our previous samplers, this collection offers a wide range of acoustic music performed by amazing artists. Volume III features mandolin patriarch Rudy Cipolla, DGQ guitarist Enrique Coria, Jerry Garcia, Stephane Grapelli, the David Grisman Quintet, Old and In the Way, and scottish guitar great, Martin Taylor. "Home" was produced last year by Bonnie Raitt and David Grisman for Honor, a CD which benefited a project that builds awareness and support for over 200 indigenous environmen-tal groups in North America. Proceeds from this alternate version will also be donated to the Seventh Generation Fund which runs the project.
