Wir bieten dieses Jahr 2 Tages - Kurse mit Mike an. Einen für Beginner und einen für Fortgeschrittene!

 

This year Mike will be offering a special class for people who are just beginning on the mandolin.

The class will move at a much slower pace and will focus on the basics. Some simple tunes with three chords. Some strumming patterns and some

easy to play melodies that everyone can have fun with no matter your experience level.

 

 

Samstag der 21.4. Fortgeschrittene - Intermediate to Advanced - incl. some Mandocello - 10 Uhr bis 14 Uhr

Sonntag der 22.4. Beginner - 11 Uhr bis 15 Uhr

 

Gebühr: 150 € je Kurs

Maximum 15 Teilnehmer je Kurs

About Mike Marshall

One of the pioneers of contemporary mandolin playing will present a two-day Mandolin workshop at the New Acoustic Gallery /Schloss Lüntenbeck in Wuppertal. Come join the fun as Mike takes us deep into his world of the mandolin.

Mike is a master instrumentalist and equally at home playing Bluegrass, Classical, Brazil and Jazz styles. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the learning environment and is a thoughtful and sensitive communicator no matter your level of playing.

Mike has performed and recorded with Chris Thile, Caterina Lichtenberg, Edgar Meyer, Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Tony Rice and Stephane Grappelli to name but a few.

He has taught hundreds of students through his ArtistsWorks! On-line School of Mandolin and produced over a dozen books and DVDs about mandolin playing.
