Bach for Flatpicking Guitar! The term Flatpicking is usually used in Bluegrass circles, Traditional Country, Gypsy Jazz, Acoustic Blues or Acoustic Rock Music. In general we can define Flatpicking as a technique for playing the acoustic steel string guitar with a flat pick (plectrum). Playing classical arrangements on the steel string guitar already has a long tradition, thinking of the mainly in the 50 s created arrangements by Johnny Smith, Harry Volpe, Mel Bay or Sal Salvador.
