This is the guitar popularized by Django Reinhardt around the world. The model is distinguished by an O-shaped soundhole with the neck joined to the body at the 14 th fret. The scale is 670 mm.
The soundboard is in solid spruce, with red cedar as an option; the fingerboard is ebony. The neck is 44,5 mm at the nut. The truss rod is accessible from the soundhole, with Brass DM machine heads and DM Tailpiece "Selmer" type. The two bridges delivered with the guitar are in rosewood dyed ebony.
The machine heads and tailpiece marked DM, are designed and built in the Dupont workshop; they are exact copies of the original.
