The RB-250 was Gibson's least expensive Mastertone model, and featured the flat-head tone ring that made the company's pre-war Mastertone models famous.

Mahogany neck with bound fingerboard and bow tie inlays, bound mahogany resonator with double ring inlays, flat-head tone ring, one piece flange, chrome hardware, geared tuners.

Capo spikes added at frets 7 an 9.
