Von der Ome Web Site:
The JUBILEE features our standard 26.25” scale, 1.28” nut width, and our 17 fret S-scoped fingerboard. The 2-ply solid maple rim is 9/16” thick and is capped with black ebonite and bound with simulated tortoise shell. Both the 11”/24 bracket and the 12”/26 bracket Jubilee utilize the OME maple Tone Rim construction with two adjustable brass rim rods. This produces a somewhat “Brighter” tone and response than the shorter 25.5” scale used on our “Old-Time” Series banjos, but it is still the “Woodiest” sounding Vintage Series banjo we make.
